Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 Technical Officers (Food Safety) to join our Environmental Health team on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Based within the Business Regulation team, you work independently to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow.
Applicants must hold The Scottish Food Safety Officers' Registration Board (SFSORB) Higher Certificate in Food Practice OR Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection and Higher Certificate in Food Standards Inspection however applications are welcomed from candidates who are sitting their REHIS exams in October 2025.
A flexible approach to working, IT skills and a working knowledge of the role of a Food Safety Technical Officer within a local authority setting are essential.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £36,319.27 - £42,291.44 on an incremental scale
