Summary

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a weekend only LGV Artic Driver/Labourer to join us on a permanent basis.

Position Details

The role will involve working 21 hours per week across Saturday & Sunday.

Duties include the collection, loading /unloading and transportation of ejection trailers from specified locations to agreed treatment facilities. If no driving duties are available, you will be required to undertake manual labouring duties or the operation of heavy plant & HGV vehicles within the disposal section.

An LGV/HGV driving licence C&E, Valid Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence and Valid Tachograph driver card are essential qualifications for this role. Whilst experience of vehicle maintenance, routine checks, loading techniques, and manual handling is holding essential.

As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate(s) will require to undergo a pre-employment medical and GP clearance.
