Crynodeb
JOB PURPOSE: The Managing Director will be the Responsible Officer for NHS P&I and have full responsibility for the leadership of NHS P&I, overseeing all business and operational delivery, managing its senior leaders and ensuring it is structured and operates in a way that is as streamlined and efficient as possible with the right skills and resources in place to deliver on its purpose. The Managing Director will provide a pivotal senior leadership role, both with Welsh Government and the wider health and social care system and be accountable for the successful delivery of the work of NHS P&I as directed by Welsh Government. The postholder will have overall accountability for the management and financial governance of the budget for NHS P&I ensuring efficient allocation and use of resources, and that all required decision-making, control, delivery and development systems are in place.
