The role:
Our client, a leading housing association, is looking for a proactive and community-focused Neighbourhood Response Officer. You’ll play a vital role in making neighbourhoods safe, clean, and thriving – places residents are proud to live. The role involves supporting vulnerable tenants, managing anti-social behaviour, investigating tenancy breaches, and working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers
Conduct regular estate inspections and prioritise fire safety actions
Work with residents’ groups to support community facilities and events
Liaise with local partners on safety and ASB issues
Coordinate with internal departments on neighbourhood services
Visit and support customers in breach of tenancy or requiring additional support
Carry out viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy assignments
Represent our client in court, including evictions and stay hearings
Conduct property condition checks and assist with major incidents or decanting

Able to travel regularly within the region and respond to major incidents if required
Experience in housing or neighbourhood management
