We're looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to work at a welcoming school in Manchester. The school offers a safe, inclusive and friendly environment to "encourage and engage" - consider just one describing word - children aged 5-11 with additional learning needs and possible challenging behaviour.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work, encourage and inspire pupils each day. You'll have to assist teachers to achieve academic goals and ensure the safety of children.

This is a full-time, long-term position, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

What you'll do:

  • Provide individualised support to children with a range of learning and developmental needs
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a tailored learning experience for each child
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported

What you'll bring:

  • A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • A positive and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
