Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)Sutton-in-AshfieldPermanent – Technical & Engineering£46,000 + Overtime + Excellent Company BenefitsWorkchain is proud to be recruiting for a leading manufacturing business in Sutton in Ashfield who are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation offering stability, excellent earning potential, and immediate interview/start availability.The RoleAs a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of all on-site machinery and equipment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone confident with both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a range of manufacturing machinery, including extrusion lines, packing machines, and general site equipment.Respond quickly to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding to minimise downtime.Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations.Collaborate with managers, production teams, and external contractors to resolve issues efficiently.Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate service/maintenance records.Key ExperiencePrevious hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or similar environment.Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.Ability to diagnose and repair machinery efficiently under time pressure.QualificationsIdeally City & Guilds or NVQ/BTEC in Electrical Maintenance or Installation (or equivalent).Shift PatternA continental shift pattern offering a great work/life balance:4 days on – 6:00am to 6:00pm4 days off4 nights on – 6:00pm to 6:00am4 days offSalary & Benefits£46,000 per annumGenerous overtime opportunitiesExcellent company benefits packageLong-term career security within a growing business
