Trainee Engineer
Within 5 miles of FY1 5QQ – with national travel
- Full time, permanent (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm)
- £30,000 OTE (with overtime)

The Role
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with basic IT knowledge and hands-on skills who’s eager to learn and develop a career in engineering. You’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer who will mentor you through all aspects of installation and service work, no two days will be the same!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Engineer with installations and service work as directed by the Project Manager
- Learn and develop skills to eventually manage tasks independently
- Use IT knowledge to support installations and service calls
- Maintain awareness of health & safety standards at all times
- Accurately complete documentation and job records

- £30,000 On Target Earnings (including overtime)
- Overtime pay: Time and a half (Saturdays) & double time (Sundays)

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with a hands-on approach, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude. No previous engineering experience is required, just the right mindset and enthusiasm to grow in the role. About you:
- Some IT knowledge and confidence using tech
- Enthusiasm to learn and take on new challenges daily
- Good practical skills and ability to use basic hand tools
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
- Awareness of Health & Safety (full training provided)
- Comfortable with working at heights (full training provided)
