Summary
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a Follow Spot Operator to work on the upcoming West End musical "PADDINGTON" at the Savoy Theatre.
The Follow Spot Operator will work closely with the Chief LX and the Stage Manager on executing the stage needs of the production.
Key responsibilities include:
To act as Follow Spot Operator for the production, performing cues consistently across the run as directed by the Lighting Designer.
Writing up a comprehensive cue sheet to ensure the show can be covered in the event of absence
Ensuring all staff and areas for which you are responsible adhere to health and safety regulations.
Essential experience includes:
Previous follow spot experience on a large-scale West End production.
Experience and an understanding of stage & show running etiquette.
Experience of operating a remote follow spot system (Macula)
An understanding and practical knowledge of the principles and safe working practices of theatre lighting and electrical systems
