Summary

Based in Camberley or Leeds, with hybrid working options, this role sits within our growing Cloud Infrastructure team and offers the opportunity to deliver secure, automated services in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You'll play a key part in developing infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native security frameworks to help us support customers across the banking and retail sectors.

What you'll do;

  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Helm and Ansible to support scalable AWS deployments.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid and secure delivery of services across our technology platforms.
  • Support the deployment and lifecycle management of applications used across the portfolio of cloud managed services environments
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including compliance with PCI-DSS and other frameworks.
  • Contribute to security audits, cloud governance, and continuous improvement of platform security.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues across IoT, software delivery, and infrastructure monitoring systems.
  • Optimise cloud resources for cost, reliability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Support the development of internal tooling, observability platforms, and management dashboards.
  • Produce detailed documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and team enablement.

What you'll have done;

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, managing production cloud environments.
  • Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems in cloud or production environments.
  • Familiar with Git and version control workflows (feature branching, pull requests).
  • Able to write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt new tools in DevSecOps and infrastructure automation.

Desirable;

  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration with Kubernetes in AWS.
  • Experience working with regulated services and standards like PCI-DSS or ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube).
  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • AWS certifications (e.g. Cloud Practitioner or higher).
  • Worked in agile environments delivering infrastructure projects.

The role requires successful completion of enhanced background screening due to the regulated nature of some customer environments.
