Crynodeb
First point of contact for patient, family members & visitors in person & via the telephone. Monitor who has has access to the ward to ensure that safeguarding policies & procedures are adhered to Taking calls from women regarding their pregnancies which require you be compassionate whilst ensuring the call is dealt with appropriately. Answering patient call buttons in the appropriate manner. Assisting clinical staff during emergencies on the ward Using the EPR system to book appointments, admit & transfer patients Use Badgernet system to maintain patient records Develop knowledge of patient pathways to ensure that correct procedures are adhered to whilst booking outpatient appointments & in-patient admissions Ensure that information on overseas patients is entered accurately onto EPR and communicated to the Overseas team, to ensure appropriate charges are processed Use ScanIt to move documents in patient's electronic notes Track patient notes Work closely with clinical staff to provide the best quality care for patients whilst they are under the care of the Maternity service Maintain stationary levels General admin duties
