Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator
Location: Redditch
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour + shift allowance

Shift Details:

• Days: Friday to Sunday
• Hours: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Break: 30-minute unpaid break per shift
• Total Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our weekend day shift team. The ideal candidate will be confident in setting and operating Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura CNC machines across both milling and turning disciplines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled engineers seeking long shifts over fewer working days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura CNC machines (milling and turning).

  
  

• Ensure machining is carried out to precise quality and dimensional standards.

  
  

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.

  
  

• Inspect finished components to verify compliance with technical drawings.

  
  

• Meet production targets within the weekend schedule.

  
  Qualifications:

  • Proven CNC setting and operating experience.

    
    

  • Hands-on experience with Mazak, Doosan, and Matsura machinery.

    
    

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality output.

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across long shifts.
