Freelance Specialist Community Support Worker (CSW)
Job Summary:
To provide one to one support to D/deaf individuals:
• who need support to remain in their own home,
• who want to regain skills and confidence to live independently,
• who are Deaf or Deafblind, D/deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deafened and use different types of communication including sign language
• who have a learning disability,
• who have other medical condition
Support will enable individuals to develop social skills through local provisions/communities, such as services & clubs. Support to encourage independent travel to attend groups or carry out everyday tasks, for example on public transport, going to the supermarket. To support with financial and household routine planning, to include budgeting skills. This role is carried out as a freelance professional and as such will require monthly invoices to be submitted for hours work.
