Job Title: Semi-Skilled Operative (All-Round Builder)
Location: Sites throughout Manchester
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive weekly pay based on experience
Start Date: Immediately
Must be fluent in the English language
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Operative with experience as an all-round builder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of various construction tasks and be confident working independently or as part of a team on a range of projects. Being a grafter is essential, someone who wants to work and grow within a fast growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with general building work across various job site
• Perform groundworking tasks including digging, concreting, drainage, and site preparation
• knowledge of bricklaying or joinery
• Knowledge of drywall / plasterboarding at a basic to intermediate level
• Support skilled tradespeople and follow project instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Ensure work is completed to high standards and on schedule
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in general building and construction
• Competent in groundworking tasks, loading out heavy materials and general labouring tasks
• Skilled in bricklaying and/or joinery and/or dry-lining boarding (basic to intermediate level)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic and positive
attitude
• Clean Drivers licence and or vehicle for the short term (or live within the M23 or M33 area)
• use of a company van must be 21+ for insurance purposes
