Our client is a major force in the rigid body building industry. Established in 1969, the company is renowned for innovations that push the boundaries of commercial vehicle body design. The choice of many of the UK’s major fleets, contract hire and rental companies, their reputation stands on merit, with manufacturing in excess of 50 bodies each week.
As an established, major constructor of high-quality LCV and HGV commercial bodies, they continue to face increased demand from both existing and new customers.
As a result, they are looking to recruit proven Skilled and Semi-Skilled Bodybuilders, based at their site in Manchester.

• Possesses a range of skills and knowledge associated with the fabrication and manufacture of commercial vehicle bodywork, from work instruction to complete vehicle
• Delivers a high standard of workmanship
• Able to problem-solve and build issues
• Flexible within the role

• Enthusiastic and punctual
What will your role look like?
• Working in a dedicated bay
• Setting out the underframe
• Mounting bracket positioning, etc
• Complete construction of all types of fabricated bodywork
• Quality control of own work
• Ensuring your work area remains clean, tidy, and free from hazards
• Using the manufacturer's repair methods to disassemble and reassemble
• Working closely with other team members
