Bury leisure are looking at recruiting two highly motivated and enthusiastic applicants for the role of gym instructors.

Post 1: Castle Leisure Centre, 15 hours per week average

Post 2: Both sites 16 hours per week average

Post 3: Additional annualised hours post(s) available for the either the successful candidates or other successful candidates.

Full time equivalent salary for the role: £25,584 - £27,269

Working patterns are available on request.

Bury leisure current operate two sites both with gym facilities. You will be expected to engage in a variety of promotions, generating leads and hitting challenging targets around the sales and retention of members. You will be expected to conduct health checks, carry out inductions and work in partnership with our Exercise Referral Officers.

You will be reportable to the duty manager at each site and each site has a gym lead.

You will be expected to conduct health checks, carry out inductions and work in partnership with our Live well team.

It is essential that you are passionate about fitness, have fantastic people skills and a strong commercial focus. You must hold a recognised Level 3 gym instructor qualification.

Both Centres operate a 7 day a week service and all patterns include a mixture of lates, evenings and weekend work. There is a permanent vacancy at both Castle leisure centre and Ramsbottom pool. There is also a temporary post at Castle leisure centre until the 1st June 2025.
