Do you hold QTS and have a specialism in primary SEN? Are you passionate about nurturing the potential of young learners with Autism and communication difficulties? We're searching for a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join their supportive team, making a profound impact on students in Years 2-6. Your Role: Guiding Young Minds to Success As a Primary SEN Teacher, you'll be instrumental in shaping bright futures. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons meticulously tailored to EHCPs.
  • Creating a consistent, structured classroom that provides security and fosters optimal learning.
  • Developing pupils' communication, social, and emotional skills through targeted strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met.
  • Monitoring progress diligently, adapting approaches, and celebrating every single achievement.
  • Fostering an inclusive, respectful, and emotionally safe learning space.
  • Working effectively with parents, carers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support network.
We're Looking For: Your Passion and Expertise
  • QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children with Autism or related SEN.
  • A strong understanding of EHCP implementation and personalised teaching methods.
  • Calm, compassionate behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
