Responsibilities As a Duct Fitter, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installing a variety of ductwork systems, including fire-rated ductwork, in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Collaborating with other team members and trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of all installed ductwork.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- CSCS Blue Card or JIB Blue Card (mandatory).
- Proven experience in ductwork installation, including fire-rated systems.
- Strong understanding of ductwork materials, tools, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day Your daily tasks will involve:
- Reviewing project plans and preparing for the day’s installation work.
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling ductwork components as required.
- Installing duct systems securely and ensuring proper alignment.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards.
