Exciting New Roles in Youth Justice – Help Shape Brighter Futures for Children
Thanks to funding from the Young Futures Prevention Partnership, we’re excited to offer two new opportunities within the Youth Justice Service for one full time and one part time Young Futures Prevention Navigators.
These newly created roles are part of a national initiative aimed at halving knife crime, reducing violence against women and girls, and tackling anti-social behaviour.
As a Young Futures Prevention Navigator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering early intervention and diversion strategies for children at risk of entering the criminal justice system. You’ll work closely with the voluntary sector, police, and the Violence Reduction Unit to support a proactive, child-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the operational delivery of the Youth Justice Service
Complete assessments and co-produce child-first plans with children and families
Engage 1:1 with children using the ‘fresh AIR’ model (Activities, Interactions, Roles)
Develop and implement the Young Futures model in collaboration with key partners
Build strong relationships with the voluntary sector to support service delivery
Contribute to performance targets and local outcomes
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team making a real difference in the lives of children.
