I'm working with a well-established client in Glasgow who is looking to add a Payroll Assistant to their dynamic payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a finance background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Role Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly payrolls and associated invoicing.
- Managing statutory deductions and manual payroll calculations.
- Generating regular payroll reports.
- Resolving payroll-related queries from internal teams and employees.
- Maintaining accurate payroll systems.
- Administering statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator, handles payroll queries professionally
- Problem-solving mindset, comfortable with payroll complexities
- Highly organised, meets tight deadlines under pressure
- Team-focused, proactive and collaborative
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and payroll systems
- Experience with weekly or high-volume payrolls (preferred, not essential)
