Main duties and responsibilities General To be familiar with and adhere to Trust policies and procedures To work within the framework of the NMC Code. Clinical To plan, deliver and evaluate a complex programme of care to the critically ill patient without supervision To accurately collate, interpret and report patient data Management To be responsible in the absence of the departments Senior Sister/Senior Charge Nurse for the total management of the department To ensure that concerns/complaints are dealt with in a timely manner within Trust guidelines.
