Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Resources Advisor to join our Student Services Department at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a full time (37 hours), term time basis (40 weeks). In return you will receive a salary of £21,649.75 - £23,334.53 per annum (equivalent to a full year salary of £24,107 - £25,983 per annum). We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Learning Resources Advisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our learners.

About the role: You will assist in in providing an efficient and effective user-focused Learning Resource Service. You will support students and apprentices in developing their wider-learning and enhancing their study and research skills. You will also contribute to the College’s Personal Development Strategy by creating and promoting exciting resources using a range of media including Canva and providing enrichment opportunities for our students.
What we are looking for in our role:

A passionate and dedicated Learning Resource Advisor

You will be computer literate and able to produce and upload digital content to various media platforms.Good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Empathy with and ability to relate to young people.Highly organized, particularly under pressure.Ability to work and communicate effectively with colleagues and learners of all backgrounds and abilities.Awareness of issues relating to copyright, data protection, health and safety, and legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act.
To apply, you must have:
-Familiarity with digital communication systems, e.g. Teams
-Experience of designing digital art content eg Canva
-Good administration skills, including the ability to use IT applications and record data accurately.
-Flexibility to work between campuses and occasionally participate in ‘out of hours’ events and one late evening per week to 6pm
-Knowledge of FE library systems
-Good level of education including GCSE in English and Maths
-Experience of working in a learning centre, library or educational environment
