Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your day-to-day will include:


  • Providing personalised support to students in one-on-one and small group settings.


  • Collaborating closely with teachers to modify and tailor lesson materials.


  • Encouraging and modeling positive behaviour and emotional resilience.


  • Supporting students in developing independence and real-world life skills.


  • Participating in enrichment activities that support holistic development.


  • Promoting a respectful, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel seen and supported.



What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • At least 6-12 months' experience working in UK Schools, ideally within SEN settings.


  • A solid understanding of common SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.


  • A calm, empathetic, and confident approach to building strong student relationships.


  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.


  • A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
