Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neurosurgery department as Administration Coordinator. We have two positions available. This role is an exciting chance to work closely with clinical teams, nursing staff, and Directorate Management teams to support services in the delivery of excellent patient care.

We are looking for an individual who has good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet the challenges of working to deadlines. A successful candidate will be a team player with good organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work autonomously. They will be dedicated to delivering a positive patient experience, excellent customer service and effective support to the multi-disciplinary team.

The Administration Coordinator will work as part of an administrative team, to actively manage the administrative processes attached to patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, to deliver a high-quality administration service, a positive patient experience, and excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for managing appointments, referrals, and patient queries. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in waiting times, RTT performance and waiting list management.
