Join our growing fundraising team at UCLH!
UCLH Fundraising Team works alongside all Divisions at UCLH, specifically the Strategic Development department, UCLH Charity and charities across the Trust, to improve the service that we provide for patients. Our vision is to make a difference to all patients at UCLH by investing in projects that add value ‘above and beyond’ standard NHS provision.
Our current main fundraising appeal is for two high-profile strategic projects including the Grafton Way Building, a new state of the art specialist cancer hospital and precision robotic short stay surgery centre.
Other appeals include Bring the Colour to our children’s emergency department and radiotherapy department and our Butterfly appeal, to create a sanctuary suite for bereaved parents who have lost their baby.
The Fundraising Administrator position is a dynamic and pivotal role in the UCLH Fundraising Team. You will be joining us at an important time of growth and ambition, and you support the expansion and development across the Challenge Events and Corporate & Community Fundraising functions. The fundraising team at UCLH has been in place for nearly 4 years and has successfully raised more than £6m to date.
This is an exciting time to join our small but mighty team as we progress into the next phase of our fundraising strategy and a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated self-starter with a determined and proactive approach to take the next step in their career.
The Fundraising Administrator will report to the Head of Fundraising and work closely with the Fundraising Managers to support our challenge events portfolio and corporate and local community fundraising outreach to raising funds for UCLH Charity. They will support with the coordination of the team’s fundraising activities including sporting and individual challenge events, community and corporate fundraising events, special events, and support with content for our social media channels.
They will provide support in relation to managing donations, administrative fundraising support, supporter communications, events, acknowledgments and database management.
This includes assisting with the delivery of fundraising one-off and annual fundraising appeals and projects, marketing and campaign print and online collateral, donor newsletters, patient Christmas presents, postal mailings, creating case story content to support appeals and fundraising communications.
