What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting teachers across a range of subjects including English, maths and science
• Leading small group sessions and offering 1:1 support for students with additional needs
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and lesson materials
• Encouraging student engagement, resilience, and academic confidence
• Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
• Working alongside SEN, EAL and pastoral staff to meet diverse pupil needs

Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Bexley School:
• A recent graduate with strong academics and a clear interest in secondary education
• Confident communicator who builds rapport quickly with young people
• Calm, proactive and adaptable—especially when supporting a variety of learning styles
• Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools, youth work) is desirable
• Committed to full-time, term-time work from September through July
