Job Title: Operations Clerk (Warehouse with Driving)
Location: Near London Heathrow
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Clerk to join a fast-paced logistics environment. This role blends warehouse operations with driving responsibilities, ideal for someone hands-on, organised, and ready to grow within the logistics industry. No day is ever the same — flexibility and a proactive attitude are key to success in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Clerk
Work across import, export, and fulfilment warehouses
Perform picking, packing, shipment processing, labelling, and data entry tasks
Collect courier and cargo shipments from airport sheds (Full UK Driving Licence required)
Complete general warehouse and administrative duties
Maintain high attention to detail with timely and accurate task execution
Uphold health and safety standards, reporting incidents or near-misses
Maintain vehicles and equipment (e.g. inspections, cleanliness)
Operate forklift equipment (training provided if required)
Communicate and collaborate with other departments effectively
Requirements as an Operations Clerk
Essential:
Experience in an import & export warehouse environment
Ability to work the designated shift schedule
Full UK Driving Licence (must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
Exposure to Export Customs entries
Intermediate computer skills
Desirable:
Motivated toward personal and professional development
Forklift experience, training can be given
X-ray screening experience
