What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting pupils with EHCPs or identified additional learning needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to assist children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs)
• Helping to implement personalised interventions and adapted learning strategies
• Encouraging communication, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
• Assisting teachers and the SENCO in creating inclusive learning environments
• Supporting daily classroom routines, behaviour management, and pupil wellbeing

Ideal Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant For This Lewisham School:
• A graduate with a strong academic background and genuine passion for SEN
• Calm, empathetic and patient in supporting children with diverse needs
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience with SEN (e.g. schools, tutoring, care, voluntary work) is a strong advantage
