This rewarding Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role places you in a supportive and inclusive Newham primary school, where you’ll work closely with pupils who require additional learning and emotional support.
This well-regarded school is known for its diverse community, dedicated staff, and inclusive ethos. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group support—helping pupils with SEND build confidence, access learning, and thrive in a safe, structured environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting pupils with identified special educational needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language)
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
• Assisting with classroom routines, adapted resources, and inclusive strategies
• Promoting communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
• Working alongside teachers and the SENCO to track progress and adjust support plans
• Helping to create a calm, inclusive learning environment
