Summary

Lead Support Worker - Stanwell (TW19)

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Full UK (Manual) Driving Licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive manual house vehicle

Are you experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities? Join our innovative team based in Stanwell, Staines as a Lead Support Worker. Working with a mixture of 2 males and 3 females with a variety of needs and interests, no two days will be the same! Interests include cooking, playing games, days out such as going to the zoo and fright night at Thorpe park! Booking and organising activities such as health appointments, weekly food shopping, leisure and social activities out of the home, and maintaining their home environment are also very important parts of the role.

We are looking for an inspiring individual with outstanding communication skills, who can use initiative and think outside of the box. A Lead Support Worker will be responsible for additional duties such as rota management, audits and delegations. Working with integrity, and being able to show courage when facing challenging situations is key. You must be a team player and work well with others acting as a role model, leading by exceptional example following agreed ways of working and policies and procedures.
