A well-established main contractor is seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial refurbishment project in Chester. This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing live construction sites and delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations on a live commercial refurbishment
- Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, and ensure programme adherence
- Uphold health & safety standards and site compliance
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Maintain site documentation and quality assurance procedures
What you'll have:
- Proven experience in commercial refurbishment projects
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage RAMS, H&S, and QA processes
- Experience working in live environments is highly desirable
