Looking to take the next step in your surgical career? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and capable Clinical Fellow to join our busy and friendly Paediatric Surgery team at The Royal London Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in one of the UK’s largest and most respected centres, covering neonatal surgery, GI surgery, urology and paediatric trauma.
You’ll work alongside a supportive consultant body and be encouraged to get stuck into research, teaching, audit, and service development — all within a Trust that truly lives its values.

To be an active member of the Team and help deliver the departmental mission of excellence in clinical care and teaching.
Continuing responsibility for providing a specialist service for the patients referred in to the department in line with Trust and DH targets, including performing all administrative duties associated with the patient care.

To help provide triaging/vetting of referrals and advice and guidance to local clinicians.
To collaborate with medical and non-medical colleagues in the development and delivery of care plans.
To liaise effectively and on a timely basis with General Practitioners, community services, and all healthcare agencies.
To maintain up to date knowledge of scientific, clinical and technical developments in Paediatric Surgery.
To support the recruitment and medical assessments of patients in industry trials and NIHR
adopted studies, guided by the research team from the Children’s Clinical Research Facility.
