Transform Trust HR Business Partner Full time (37 hours / Flexible to suit)
Salary: Transform Trust central team pay scale Rank 4 points 1-6 £42,429 - £46,431 per annum FTE.
Start date: ASAP The central HR team within the People at Transform is a small, experienced and supportive team who provide an essential service to our schools and the Trust’s Head Office. Due to growth we wish to move to a Partnership approach where each Business Partner will deliver a comprehensive HR service to a group of 8-10 schools, working closely with individual school leaders and the schools within their Partnership group. You will also work on national Trust wide projects and initiatives. The key will be to coach, support and enable highly effective practice at school level.
The role is fast paced, wide-ranging and varied so flexibility and a willingness to learn new things is a must. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or have significant experience in dealing with complex employee relations cases, up to and including dismissal (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability) plus re-structures and TUPE conversions, all within an education or similar setting. You should be up to date and familiar with employment law and best practice.
Flexible working is a feature of this role, including an option to work partially from home, flexible start and finish times or term time only will be considered. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the head office team. In order to successfully provide business partner support there will be a requirement for the post holder to travel to schools within their partnership area, therefore being Nottingham based is not essential as we cover North Nottinghamshire and Derby Schools.
