Crynodeb
The post holder will sit within the Commercial Function and will provide valuable support to the commercial function, with a focus on commercial contract change and management. Acting as the the Contract Change Coord, supporting the Contract Change Deputy Lead and the Contract Management Lead relating to contract management through their Line Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Contract Change Deputy Lead in managing and tracking change management initiatives.
Coordinate contract changes through drafting and collating wording, monitoring schedule documents, and ensuring version control.
Liaise with HQ AFR functions and the Supplier in relation to requested changes to ensure understanding of the requirement and for progressing the request, keeping them informed.
Support the development and maintenance of commercial guidance for HQ AFR functions looking to seek a contract change in their area.
Responsible for ensuring up-to-date knowledge management on all new commercial policy and directive changes is utilised and incorporated by AFR within area of responsibility, and to collaborate with other peer groups and commercial colleagues within MOD to ensure best commercial practice is adopted in developing contract change and management strategies.
Government Commercial Function:
This role is commensurate with the Associate Commercial Practitioner role in the Government Commercial Function People Standards for the Professional guidance.
