What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting the Year 5 class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines
• Leading small group sessions in reading, writing and maths
• Offering 1:1 support for pupils who need academic or emotional guidance
• Helping children build resilience, confidence and independent learning habits
• Promoting positive behaviour and active engagement in lessons
• Assisting with classroom resources, displays, and enrichment activities

Ideal Year 5 Teaching Assistant For This Greenwich School:
• Graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for education
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with older primary pupils
• Friendly, proactive and patient, with a positive approach to learning support
• Previous experience with children (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, classroom assistance) is a plus
• Available to commit to full-time hours from September through July
• Ambitious to gain classroom experience before progressing to teacher training or similar pathways
