Are you an experienced HR Officer ready for your next challenge in a purpose-driven organisation? We are working on behalf of a respected education provider to recruit a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join their friendly People Services team in Peterborough.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and compliance. As an HR Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of HR service delivery, ensuring that policies, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory frameworks are followed with diligence and care.
Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process

Providing first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees

Managing employee lifecycle tasks such as starters, leavers, and changes to contracts

Supporting informal employee relations cases (e.g., probation and absence management)

Ensuring accurate HR data entry, record-keeping and compliance with GDPR and Ofsted standards
This role is ideal for an experienced HR Officer or a confident HR Coordinator ready to take the next step. You will need to be confident handling confidential information, prioritising tasks, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
Essential requirements:

Minimum CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)

Experience in a busy HR environment

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and safeguarding requirements
