Are you an experienced HR Officer ready for your next challenge in a purpose-driven organisation? We are working on behalf of a respected education provider to recruit a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join their friendly People Services team in Peterborough.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and compliance. As an HR Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of HR service delivery, ensuring that policies, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory frameworks are followed with diligence and care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process

  • Providing first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees

  • Managing employee lifecycle tasks such as starters, leavers, and changes to contracts

  • Supporting informal employee relations cases (e.g., probation and absence management)

  • Ensuring accurate HR data entry, record-keeping and compliance with GDPR and Ofsted standards

This role is ideal for an experienced HR Officer or a confident HR Coordinator ready to take the next step. You will need to be confident handling confidential information, prioritising tasks, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)

  • Experience in a busy HR environment

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Working knowledge of UK employment law and safeguarding requirements
