Gatehouse Administrator – Join Our Dynamic Logistics Team!
Location: Tamworth
Contract Type: Full-time
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off
Salary: £29,333.30 per annum Nights
Holiday: 23.5 days annual leave
Shift Details:
- Nights Fixed: 6pm–6am (1hrs Lunch)
- Fixed pattern (3 on/3 off)
️ Key Responsibilities:
Gatehouse Duties:
- Manage trailer movements using our Yard Management System
- Coordinate with drivers, shunters, warehouse staff, and the transport office
- Maintain clear radio communication and accurate system updates
Transport Admin Duties:
- Despatch and debrief drivers using internal IT systems
- Prepare driver boxes and resolve transport-related issues
- Liaise with on-site, customer service, and planning teams
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Previous admin experience (essential)
- Transport or logistics background (preferred)
- Security experience (a bonus for gatehouse roles)
- Confident using Microsoft Office and transport applications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, reliable work ethic
