Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Electricity Transmission team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?
- Manage document configuration and change control to ensure data integrity
- Maintain a compliance calendar for document reviews, updates, and approvals
- Keep an up-to-date document control register tracking versions and statuses
- Support the SHEQ Manager during external audits and certification processes (e.g., NERs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with operational needs
- Assist with project documentation, general admin tasks, and handover file preparation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of document management systems
- Work independently and make informed decisions within role boundaries
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience as a Document Controller
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong understanding of document configuration, change management processes, and compliance standards
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Proficiency in using document management software and tools
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders
- Full clean driving licence – Desirable
