Summary
Due to our continued growth, AK Teaching are recruiting an SEN Primary Teacher for one of our primary SEND schools in Sunderland.
About the Role
As an SEND Primary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality education, plan and teach lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils, monitor progress, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality education to individual students or small groups.
- Develop and implement personalised learning environments and programs to ensure student progression at an appropriate pace.
- Organise the classroom environment, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience
- UK QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across primary, secondary or SEND schools/environments previously.
- Experience with SEN children (desirable but not essential).
