An established and welcoming primary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 to July 2026. About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum.


  • Assist with classroom management to foster a positive, focused learning environment.


  • Provide 1:1 and small group academic support, especially for students needing additional help.


  • Help prepare resources and contribute to planning and activities.


  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring both their academic and emotional needs are met.


  • Encourage a nurturing atmosphere where every child feels supported and valued.


    What We’re Looking For

    • A recent or upcoming graduate (minimum 2:1) in Education, Psychology, or a related field.


    • A proactive, enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for working with children.


    • A patient and compassionate approach to learning support.


    • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not essential.


    • Full-time availability from September 2025.
