This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing sixth form setting dedicated to delivering outstanding A-Level teaching to students aged 16-18
- Deliver engaging and high-quality A-Level Psychology lessons.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development.
- Provide timely assessment and feedback to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and attainment.
- Support enrichment activities such as trips, guest speakers, or events.
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity policies.
- Participate in performance reviews and continuous professional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to departmental success.
Essential:
- Degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- Certificate in Education or equivalent (or working towards).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - Grade A-C.
- Experience teaching A-Level Psychology in a Sixth Form or Further Education setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage 16-18 learners.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice.
Desirable:
- Experience in delivering enrichment and extracurricular activities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of A-Level curriculum and exam board requirements.
