Summary
At TeacherActive, we’re working closely with a network of primary schools across Gower. We’re currently looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) from September on a full-time basis. This may involve 1:1 work with individual pupils or small group interventions, supporting children with a range of needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Some of our current roles also include working in after-school clubs between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, so we’d love to hear from candidates who are open to taking on this additional responsibility.

What we’re looking for:
âœ”ï¸ A genuine passion for helping children thrive
âœ”ï¸ Minimum of 6 months experience supporting children with ALN – either 1:1 or in small groups
âœ”ï¸ Willingness to support an after-school club from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
âœ”ï¸ A positive, can-do attitude
âœ”ï¸ Understanding of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches is a real advantage
âœ”ï¸ Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
