Summary
Senior Governance Manager (Operational & Change Management)
A brilliant opportunity to work in the Government sector, playing a key role in both Governance and Operational Change Management, supporting the organisation to shape the future of service delivery in a highly visible post.
Type of role: Permanent
Salary: From £44,709 to £53,347 per annum
Location: Edinburgh (2 days per week on-site working, the rest remote)
Senior Governance Manager (Operational & Change Management) duties:
- Lead Advisor on a Framework, which underpins the delivery of Change;
Strong Governance Awareness: Risk management & change management;
Lead on performance reporting & Continuous improvement programmes; - Assist in the development of Corporate Templates for Business Cases and delivery of benefits and values. supporting the wider organisation with lessons learned activities on delivering Change Initiatives;
- Managing and maintaining the Framework and Change governance with the annual programme of activities (review of strategy and guidance, plans, and testing);
- Manage effective team meetings, generating ideas, sharing knowledge, prompting discussion,
- improvements and providing feedback on activities and organisational development;
- Produce concise, understandable and well-written work, including reports to senior managers
- and external stakeholders;
- Design and deliver professional, tailored and blended training solutions across the organisation
- to ensure the understanding of process and standards to promote compliance;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across the business, including supporting
- operations and our Executive Change Board.
Senior Governance Manager (Operational & Change Management) must have:
- A Project Management or Agile certification + proven delivery experience, OR Certification and hands-on experience in auditing compliance within change programmes;
- Experience with the auditing of compliance for project delivery against agile delivery frameworks;
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve desired results with the ability to collate, analyse and present complex information in a clear and concise manner;
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
