We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant position at a well-established and inclusive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Barnet, starting September 2025.

- Pay: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)

You'll be joining a well-structured, experienced SEND team dedicated to delivering outstanding support for students with diverse needs.
What You'll Be Doing
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting SEND pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life
- Providing supervision and assistance during break times, lunch, trips, and extracurricular activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of students
- Collaborating closely with class teachers and professionals to support the individual needs of pupils
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and a passion for supporting SEND students - professional development opportunities are available
- Experience working with SEND or vulnerable individuals, either in schools or other settings such as healthcare, social care, or youth work
- Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience
