We’re currently recruiting experienced support workers to join our agency and work within a specialist Autism Day Service in Heanor, Derbyshire. This vibrant service offers a variety of structured activities tailored to each individual’s needs and interests.
As a support worker, you’ll play a key role in assisting service users with their daily routines, encouraging independence, and helping them engage in meaningful activities that promote personal growth and confidence.
To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
The role offers ongoing hours based around the needs of the service provider.
The hours you will be working are 09:15 to 15:15 on days between Monday and Friday
Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour
