Job Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and personalised support to clients in their daily activities.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and support plans.
  • Promote independence and empower clients to make choices.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
  • Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client needs.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
