Job Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalised support to clients in their daily activities.
- Support clients in accessing community resources and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and support plans.
- Promote independence and empower clients to make choices.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client needs.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
