Hours: Full or Part Time (2 to 5 days per week), Term Time Only + TE daysSalary: TA1 (Pts 2-4) £23,656 to £24,404 per annum pro rataContract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026Start date: September 2025The Chase is looking to appoint a motivated and supportive Learning Support Assistants (also known as Teaching Assistant - Level 1), to work with students across Key Stages 3 & 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieve their full potential.The role is full or part time, with flexibility to work between 2 and 5 days per week, depending on the successful candidate's availability and school needs.Key responsibilities:Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and learning activities in the classroom;Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning, particularly in core subjects;Assist with classroom organisation and resources;Provide support for students with additional needs, including SEND;Promote positive behaviour and engagement across the school.The ideal candidate will have:A caring, patient and positive attitude;Strong communication and teamwork skills;An understanding of the challenges faced by secondary-aged students;A willingness to learn and follow instructions;Experience working in a school environment or with young people (desirable but not essential).We offer:A welcoming and inclusive school community;Supportive colleagues and a dedicated pastoral team;Opportunities for training and development;Flexible working arrangements between 2 and 5 days per week.Closing date: Sunday 3rd August 2025 at 12 midnight.Interviews will be held during week commencing 4th August 2025.
