Internal Sales Representative (Metals), Dudley, Basic £30-32k + OTE
My client operates within the Metals Industry supplying a large number of customers across the UK. They are actively looking to add to their sales team and wish to recruit somebody with sales experience from within their industry. The successful candidate will plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
You will: -
• Generate and qualify leads.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity.
• Develop and maintain a customer database.
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients.
• Negotiate with clients.
• Develop sales proposals.
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Follow up on sales activity.
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
Candidate requirements:
• Computer literate.
• Proven in the principles and practices of sales.
• Have excellent of customer service principles.
• Basic business principles.
• Experience of digital sales platforms.
• Proven experience in metals sales.
• Have the ability to achieve sales targets.
Required Skills and Competencies: -
• Planning and strategising.
• Persuasiveness.
• Adaptability.
• Verbal and written communication.
• Negotiation skills.
