What you'll be doing;
- Support the delivery of small to medium projects on municipal wastewater and bioresource treatment sites within the Omega PFI contract across sites in Northern Ireland, from Belfast to Armagh.
- Defining the scope of works, costing, designing, working with others and delivering to tight timescales.
- Support the Programme Manager responsible for the delivery of valued added solutions for beneficial use for the operational teams and ensuring Veolia meets our client's needs.
- Supervise contractors and at times site staff.
- Recommend solutions that meet the project brief and convey these with the Programme Manager.
- Participate actively in asset planning and delivery routine by providing input and gathering data for yearly reporting and database update
- Conduct annual individual Asset Condition and criticality assessment and updating database
- Provide data for new assets and update existing asset registers with such data then interface with EAM VAMS system, Sinapse and HxGNtools.
What we're looking for;
- Engineering related formal qualification
- At least 2 years working in a project environment
- Experience in on site engineering or project management
- Experience of managing a programme of projects
- Previous experience of management of contractors
- IOSH Managing safely or equivalent
- Negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- APM/Prince Qualification would be beneficial
- Wastewater experience would be beneficial
