Summary
This role will report to the EMEA Finance & Operations Business Partner but work closely on a daily basis with both the European New Business Commercial team and the South African team in supporting key operational activities while providing analytics and insights on business and sales performance and helping to drive key initiatives and sales effectiveness within the commercial team. The role will also support the Europe region with pricing, working closely with the Group’s central pricing lead, to bring more pricing expertise into the local team.
What you will be doing:
Manage pricing for European and South African deals through the form of a deal desk in conjunction with the group DoA, working closely with the central pricing lead on strategy, tooling and insights.
Support in the territory planning, quota setting and individual rep. performance measurements across the segment, while also reviewing and confirming sales incentive payments.
Provide insight and analysis on sales and revenue performance of the segment, understanding where risks and opportunities exist and how to take action to optimise performance levels.
Work with key stakeholders across both the regional Finance and Commercial teams to develop, manage and maintain financial budgets and forecasts in line with the Group’s planning processes.
Provide tracking and analysis on lead creation, pipeline analytics, sales cycles, win/loss reasons, win rates and other sale execution KPIs, while supporting the team with pipeline management and sales admin processes.
Work closely with sales and the billings teams to ensure deals are booked correctly through the relevant systems.
Identify, agree and track key initiatives for the segment, and help to drive action to achieve desired results
What we are looking for in you:
Strong commercial finance and analytical skills are critical, with clear evidence of these.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation Robust Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills, with a focus on detail but balanced against what matters.
Experience in commercial pricing is critical (including tooling and reviews), with a willingness to travel to South Africa to spend time with the local team.
A degree or equivalent qualification in a finance management discipline is ideal.
The candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
